This is the Mystery Box from Michael's Zombies 2 - featuring a sci-fi aesthetic wrapped around the traditional wooden crate. The goal was to create a robot character within the mystery box, thus having an animated eye up front with robotic arms to emote was crucial to creating a character out of a stationary object.

This asset uses hard surface modeling techniques, most notably high to low poly baking to achieve beveled edges on a low poly mesh.
